If I were able to have time-flex, I know I would be far more productive in the work place. Something about having to do something on a consistent basis, as opposed to wanting to to do it really ruins it. How many companies do you think use this method? I would be interested in seeing the production/income rates as opposed to a fixed schedule.

I have successfully combined telecommuting AND flex time. Since my flex time needed to be during very unconventional hours I needed a backup plan so this arrangement could be agreeable to everyone. During the hours I am not at the office and an emergency situation arises I agreed to be available by phone which is exactly what they needed to hear.
