I hadn't heard of having a biography to be used in place (or as an attachment to) a resume before. It would certainly be something that would require a lot of work and lots of revisions without it being too drawn out. But your advice and the tips you listed would work great!

Hi Brian,

I like it on one page, myself. They look more concise, I think... more like a marketing document.

I haven't had anyone ask me for a biography yet but that would be intimidating. I guess if you limit it to 3-4 paragraghs that would make it less so...sometimes I feel like I could write a novel!

Great article. Do you find it best to keep the three or four short paragraphs on one page, or do you generally find it acceptable to roll it over to a second page? I feel it's a good practice to keep them as condensed as possible while still getting the information across.

These are really good advice. However, a "sample" cover letter would have been a nice touch which could then lead to getting an order from the reader to have your firm prepare a "winning" resume.Just a thought for you to consider. :) :)
